Mrs. Odin and I just got back from KC about an hour ago. We stopped in Lawrence and did some shopping on Mass street. (By the way, if you are ever in Lawrence, I recommend Free State Brewery - it's awesome) As promised, here are some game day pictures from yesterday. First, a better picture of the stadium from our hotel room at the Sheraton. Here's a good shot that shows the players coming out of the tunnel for pre game warmups. A good close up shot of Ronnie from pre game. Sideline hustle and bustle, shortly before kickoff. Mrs. Odin and I at the game. She's the cute one. My hat is a one-of custom that she actually made for me a few years ago.
PAT after the Ginn TD. In game action, this one is a handoff to Ronnie that went for about 3 yards. Here's a shot of the defense just prior to the snap. Close up of the interior defenders. Fans head for the exit after the Thigpen INT.
Thanks for the pics - good thing you layered up, you must have been freezing your marbles off out there.
I'd have pictures too if the weather didn't freeze the batteries in my camera... Thanks for sharing, VO.
Your batteries froze? PM me if you want me to send you over the whole roll - there's about 15-20 more that aren't included here.
Yeah, the stadium was fantastic. I can see why folks call it one of the best in the NFL. Aside from Arrowhead, about the only other stadium I'd like to see is Lambeau, well, besides Dolphin Stadium of course.
I'd agree. If the Chiefs were any good, I'm sure it would have been a lot better. It was better than the Meadowlands, IMO. That's the only stadium I can compare it to (being I've only been to two games)..
