Just thinking about this, the Dolphins ended the careers of two of the greatest QB's to have played the game.

1994 Wildcard game vs Kansas City, Joe Montana
2008 Regular season finale, Brett Favre

Joe Montana is already in the Hof and in 5 years, Brett Favre will be too.

I'm not here to rank the QB's, but this is just food for thought.

And Jay Fiedler ended Dan Marino's career.

Marino was done though:sad: It's hard to say that, but IMO, he was done.

I watched that 62-7 loss to Jacksonville and I never felt worse after a game. I was too mad and bummed to cry....I just couldn't believe it. I hoped Dan would come out of retirement just so that this wouldn't be his last game, but he just couldn't go on. Jimmy Johnson ruined him and the team and then quit. :pity:

One thing Jimmy did that was good is that he gave us a great D.

That one thing good he did doesn't erase the "leave you in the hands of Wanny" fiasco he did...never will...

Yea, I was going to add Marino to that list as well...we ended his career here, on a sour note as has been mentioned, but nonetheless, we ended his career as well...so that Marino, Montana, Favre...quite a feat for one franchise...
