Both Rotoworld and Yahoo have reported Mike Furrey was released from the Lions.

I believe 2 years ago he led the league in receptions.

Talk about a career low point. Getting released by the first and only 0-16 team ....

Could be wrong, but didnt he get in trouble for wifebeating or something like that?

Wasn't the leader but was 2nd in receptions with 98. He still has a bit left though he's not the big target this team sorely needs.

Ive heard some of the media folks around here being a bit confused with this release. He's been to the lions what camarillo was to us. Also, furrey is known as being one of the hardest workers on that team. Odd choice to dump a guy like him with a regime change... oh well. im sure mr. martz will come calling furrey again

No thanks. There's only one WR from the Lions that I want, and it's definitely not Mike Furrey.
