I really think its coming down to Wilford and Turner for who will be more of a go to guy in the redzone and right now surprisingly its looking like it may be Wilford.
Wilford huh?! And Pat White will come around. Omar Kelly said this morning on 790 they're trying to change his throwing mechanics. If so, gonna take awhile for him to adjust.
I don't understand it either. It's the same in Baseball when a guy gets to the Bigs and then they try and change it. Makes no sense.
not its not the same. because pitchers in the bigs will be getting lit up while changing their mechanics. thats why pitchers deliveries are usually changed in the minors when it doesnt count. Thats why Pats mechanics are being tweaked now, when it doesnt matter, when hes not goin to play much.
I am not sure what they are trying to change but I would bet that it is the recoil in his lower body (he recoils off his right leg and does not rotate), he does not get great rotation in his lower body and that may take some velocity away but I thought he had pretty good mechanics with his upper body and arm myself..................
Major League pitchers get their mechanics tweaked all the time. It happens alot of times when guys change teams. According to Omar, they wanted him to change his release point and make it higher.
This Brian Hartline kid......I keep hearing his name. Very positively too. We might really have something with him. Wouldn't it be awesome if he made all those people who hated the pick eat their words?
i didnt say it didnt happen. i said usually tweaks come in the minors. a ML pitcher getting tweaked is not a good comparision to our 3rd string QB getting tweaked while the only throwing he does this year that matters will be strickly on trick plays.
Tony Romo...they changed Romo's throwing motion.. Eh, we'll see, alot of times the whole mechanics thing is overblown, a Qb can play or they cannot, if White threw the ball sidearm and won, no one would care. Good to see White and Wilford's games picking up, P Turner seems to be on the decline though.
