I would love to bring in Jordan Gross and then develop some younger guys but he has been publicly adamant saying it is either back with the Panthers or retirement for him.

I believe him. I think he is a guy who says what he means.

I don't like anything about J'Marcus Webb. Absolutely nothing.

Anthony Collins scares me a little, but we could do a lot worse.

I think LT is going to cost us big this offseason, whether it is a high dollar FA or a 1st round pick. Frankly, since Cameron Erving decided to stay in school I'm hoping for a FA, either Veldheer or Monroe. Monroe first.

I think RT David Stewart is going to get cut loose from the Titans, at least it sounds that way. If he is going to get back to 100% he could be a gift stopgap to the Dolphins this year. I like him for the Dolphins. I would have no problem with a 2 or even 3 yr deal, final yr voidable.

I like Parker Graham OT OSU Cowboys to be a prime candidate to develop well for the NFL in a couple years. I would even spend a late 7th to make sure I got him. I think he would develop nicely behind Stewart. He received the Barry Sanders award for the player who was the most effective while getting the least recognition.

It's amazing to me that people so thoroughly object to signing a J'Marcus Webb as a backup that makes somewhere near the league minimum. I think that's people outsmarting themselves a bit.

The above reads almost like a fan piece but if there's any information behind it then the Bengals may let Anthony Collins test the market. I believe the Dolphins should go after him hard.

If the Bengals do manage to keep Collins then that makes for an interesting scenario with Clint Boling and Andrew Whitworth. Boling is a very good left guard but is coming off an ACL tear. Whitworth was a good left tackle but they moved him to left guard in place of Boling, bumping Collins up to starter status. I suppose if the Bengals convince Collins to stay in Cincinnati then either Whitworth (32) or Boling (25) could be available.

And Mike Pollak is another guy that Miami should be looking at from that line.

Do they have a really good O line coach? Sounds like you would be pretty happy w/ most of their line.

I agree that Pollack would be money well spent. I always expected more from Pollack. His coach at ASU Dennis Erickson said he was the best OL he ever coached, and Dennis was very old when he said that. Durability issues perhaps, but he isn't going to cost much at all.

I would much rather draft a young guy like James Hurst to play swing tackle, especially if we sign another older veteran to play RT. I doubt very much that he actually slides to the 4th round but he may be there in the 3rd.

I wonder how much Zach Strief is going to cost. There is no chance that he doesn't hit the market.

more like their front office knows how to evaluate whether a lineman can actually play.
