As you may have noticed, rudeness and disrespect are on an uptick as of late.

Perhaps the disappointment of another disappointing season is an underlying catalyst. It certainly has a lot of us on edge. Perhaps we have new members who aren't familiar with how the site works.

No matter. We've cleaned up a lot of threads and meted out discipline more than we care to the past few days. That can't continue.

It is your responsibility to adhere to the Site Rules and Regulations. Namely...

If you disagree with someone, fine. But don't disrespect each other. None of us benefits from that. It just brings the collective enjoyment of the forum down a notch or three.

This is what we need you to do. We love the team and the forum. But it simply is not possible for us to read every last post in every forum in a timely matter. This forum was built by a community of friends. You guys!

And with that comes Neighborhood Watch.

We understand it's natural for emotions to run high and feelings to be raw after a loss or during a spirited debate. But don't let that get in the way of intelligently presenting what you have to say. And if we want people to actually listen to what we have to say, we can't go insulting them.

None of us are employed by or married to this site. Well, most of us anyway. So naturally, we're not inclined to put up with someone putting us down. We either tune out or fire back. And the cycle repeats itself.

Remember what your mom taught you all those years ago. Do Unto Others... It still rings true. Respect thy neighbor and you'll be alright here.

We :thanx: again for your passion and support of this site.

    Here's to 2011!
