   Patriots agreed to terms with TE Marcus Pollard, formerly of the Seahawks.
   Pollard, 36, failed badly when given a chance to start in Seattle last year. Much less will be asked from him in New England. Pollard may only be on the roster long enough to see Benjamin Watson return from ankle surgery.

   He hasn't been a good tight end since he left the Colts. I know he was terrible here with the Lions, and honestly if you can't be a number one tight end in Detroit, I don't think you'll do very good elsewhere in the NFL.
