Rick 1966forum_veteranOPDon't know if we have any science fiction fans on the board, but I've written a few science fiction novels and my first one is going to be available to download free on Amazon Monday July 21st to Friday July 25th. Here's a link, but remember to wait until Monday if you want to get it free:

If you DL it and happen to read it (I know my tablet has like a dozen books I DLed free and haven't actually read yet) let me know what you think.
Full disclosure: it is the first in a three-book series, but it's not a cliffhanger. It has a satisfying ending with closure for all the characters. The sequels do explain more of what happened, but you don't have to read them to enjoy the first book on its own.

I've downloaded a few free books over the time I've had my Kindle, and on many occasions have then gone on to buy the rest of the back catalogue from the author. It's a good way to get your work out there, and fingers crossed for you that it helps boost sales of your other titles.
PS. I've downloaded yours too and will give it a bash at some time in the near future.
