Its really bad timing on top of bad luck for them. We have military forces stretched out fighting two wars and we are coming off a recession. Even so I think we have pledged to give more aid. Hopefully we move quickly with what we can give.

And the flooding seems to be in the region that has sheltered bin Laden and Omar for years, and given aid and comfort to al Qaeda. Hmmm... Divine retribution? Or just happy coincidence?
There was an article about how we were helping those in the land ruled by the Taliban and were gaining respect among the natives there and were pissing off the Taliban because of it, hopefully we keep this up and continue to win hearts and friends over there.
