FORT PIERCE, Fla. – A Florida military museum wants to acquire objects from Sunday's rescue of an American hostage by Navy SEAL snipers.

The director of the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce said it would be a shame to not collect items from the operation.

That would be a cool museum to see. I've got a cousin who's a Navy SEAL, unfortunately never met him though.

The Seal Museum is a pretty cool place, well worth the visit. I know the Director and his family, they are very nice folks. It is located on the same beach they used to train Navy Frogmen, the predecessors to UDT/Seal, during WWII. They still occasionally find live ordanance after storms uncover them there.
