Just a heads up what we have decided will happen is we will give you all the avatar option for Jetssuck that we have seen some such as GIK, Sick, and Paul13 using. The reasons we have decided this are two fold.... One reason being that everyone a member came in to a situation like this we would have to change it. If multiple members are sick, how would we handle that? Ultimately fist pumps will get changed but as a staff we felt this was a great way to honor JS for being a part of the board without having to worry about other issues. We hope this works for all and appreciate the caring and compassion you all have shown! You guys are what separates us from other boards by being who you are and demonstrating the character we ask of our members. Also if anyone has direct contact with JS and can keep us updated that would be appreciated!
Sounds like a great plan. Just a suggestion, and I'm not suggesting this for JS because he's still alive and hopefully fighting the good fight - but for users who do or have passed on - a great idea might be a forum somewhere called the "Ring of Honor" or something like that. Members who have passed could have their own thread and users could post memories and place their favorite posts from that member in there.
I think this is a great idea! Hopefully this site will be around a long long time, and to see people honored would be excellent.
