I mean, yeah Belichick and Brady are great but I think it's time to stop pretending that the Pats don't get special treatment from the refs. And usually I can't stand playing that card, but there's truth there.

Snapshots are useless. Not to mention, they let holding go on both teams yesterday, they were letting them play in the trenches.

I'm the same way- I'll point out questionable calls in our games but try not to make excuses around them for the loss (since you always could have scored on those ten other drives that your team messed up on). But when I'm watching a team like Jax that I care nothing about and the penalties (and non-penalties) are leaving me scratching my head, then I think it's time to call BS on the whole thing.

That one play where the Pats left guard had the defender in an arm bar THE ENTIRE FREAKING PLAY just defies logic...the guy was within one step of Brady twice- he was being held from behind so he spun and attacked from the other side of the blocker. It is so stupid easy to see a lineman holding because the extended arm of a guy behind the rusher stands out like a Christmas tree. And it happened over and over and over again right in front of the ref...it really just sickens me.

I think next season I'm going to start watching college football again and give up on the NFL. It's too much of a joke anymore and I almost guarantee that the Pats win another freaking ring. They don't even have to cheat anymore- the league does it for them.

It's all apart of the game. Has been since it's inception.

Lip reading is one thing, getting caught filming is another. Without credibility, the games mean nothing and no one would care.

There’s an easy fix to this

Miami to the South, Indy to the North, Baltimore to the East... solved that a long time ago and being in our division does work against us big time.

This is so logical as Miami would now be playing
JAC, TEN, HOU, MIA. New South
IND, CIN, CLE, PIT. New North
BAL, NYJ, NE, BUF. New East

NFC needs slight fixing w/ Dallas in the East so even easier fix
ATL, DAL, NO, TB. New South
CAR, WAS, PHI, NYG. New East

This all makes too much sense but words like “tradition” will be thrown around and it will probably never happen.

Malcolm Butler would be considered the dirtiest CB in the league if he was on any other team in the NFL. He would of been cut 3 times in his career already due to flags if he was on any other team. But no, he’s in NE, so he’s good.

Exactly. I have a buddy who was born in the Boston area. He's one of the biggest loud mouth Italians you'd even meet and he's a huge Pat's fan.

Those the the individuals to blame for the Dolphins failures over the last four decades, not the referees.

I do believe the pats get the calls their way for years.But yea I do agree we suck!

Why would the NFL "fix" a game for the Patriots and do so in an obvious way?

Was the obvious part accidental in that the refs went overboard? The NFL needs a stud ratings team in the SB and not Jax v. Philly/Minny? Reparations for DeflateGate?

I don't dismiss the notion but I don't see it either.

In reference to that NFL meme. In the 3rd quadrant, Jack would have been down due to contact from Lewis. In the 4th quadrant, that is not holding.

Absolutely....there is no doubt in my mind that boosters are paying top recruits to go to Bama. They get around it by not actually paying the players but taking care of their families. Whether it be paying mortgages or buying new cars. It definitely happens. Their 5 star freshman qb that just won the national championship is from Hawaii. Somehow his whole family now lives in Alabama. I wonder who paid for that. I bet his parents now have nice jobs, supplied by a rich booster, making 6 figures each. His reasoning for choosing Alabama was because of "how similar it is to Hawaii". Plus, those players are definitely on PED's. They come in as freshman and within a year, they put on 30 lbs of muscle. Saban is the dirtiest of them all.

Oh god, this is insufferable.

People are unable to identify the nuances of the game and understand the defensive concepts, so they just chalk it up to cheating b/c the don't know otherwise. Some of you should be embarrassed.
