I think his upside is unknown, I think his downside is Charlie Anderson. Also think having Cam Wake across from him will cure a lot of his ills his athleticism vs a RT without a Te helping on say 3rd and 8?

Neither of these guys will be worth the paper their desired contracts are printed on. Maybin doesn't know what a pass rush move is, and Gholston hasn't learned that his hands can do something other than wind up on his hips. Neither of these players have the ability to be anything more than they are at this point. They haven't even flashed ability yet; nothing.
Are you trying to tell me: Look at it this way, at worst we have good camp competitions with players who have upside if they beat a current player out, we need Will Depth, we can use someone to push Ikaika for the back Sam job.
Nickel ILB, we need a Sam who can passrush, or rather, someone who can rush the passer extremely well from the LDE position on passing downs.
I really wouldn't trust any evaluator or GM that ok'd that dude, he was a no brainer bust imo..That guy still calls the shots for you right?.
