    It would be a nice loss for them if Brad Smith left but as far as this season goes, wouldn't it be beneficial that he's looking to leave because he would be playing at a higher level than he usually does so he can earn a contract?

    yeah, next year is next year.....to many variables. This year he has been a big asset for them to date.
