These guys have their moments. They have some weird underground "we hate being dolfans but we are Dolfan" thing about them on twitter. They have this cute connection with some of the ****ty beat writers for the papers.

I am tired of them being the unofficial face of the dolphin fanbase by some. Nothing is ever positive. Even if there are some good things to look forward to with this franchise, they are negative nancies about everything.

It's like they are a bunch of mini-Dan lebatards running around. The schtick is tired.

 

They're pathetic. They talk down to anyone who doesn't share their mindset as well.

It really is just a bunch of LBfinest troglodytes running around Twitter representing the fanbase unfortunately.

I don't like it myself, dont think it fits, and isn't a good look for our image..however they are there, and standing, and screaming, so I can't really ***** too much.

 

What would be real sad is if somehow in the NFL cosmos Miami beats Buffalo and was headed to NE for a shot at the playoffs...and all folks can talk about is their idiotic stunt.

Not only is it a waste of time, it won't change anything. It gives them media attention which I think is the real motive for those guys but beyond that? It will just be a talking point for one day.

Personally I think if Ross had let a stupid banner factor into his decision-making process concerning Ireland... we have bigger problems.

Even then, your real action would be against your employer, not the guy with the sign.

And it likely would never even come to that as if you were doing this to a non-public figure in an office setting, you'd be arrested for trespassing and thrown off the property well before you'd cause ennough trouble to get the guy fired.

 

I really hate the notion some on this board have that fans are not allowed to express their displeasure at bad results. I have no problem with those of you who choose to support any Miami Dolphin regardless of performance, but it doesn't give you the right to disparage those who demand better from their favorite team.

 

Hear, hear. This is a ****ing football team. Cheer, boo, root for wins, root for losses, chant "We want Orton", hope the GM gets fired...do whatever it is you want to do because this football game is quite literally played AT YOUR PLEASURE. And these guys get paid ridiculous sums for that pleasure.

 

Complaining about the team on forums and Twitter? I get that and am fine with it. Flying a banner through a stadium? Complete waste of money and effort.

 

I think the problem is you're tracking only one side of the argument. You're not seeing what tweets and comments they're responding to. One of them in particular has a tendency towards condescension but not the others and when you're seeing them "talking down" to people it's 99% of the time in response to someone who comes at them guns blazing for not being optimistic about the team. It's their right to be optimistic or pessimistic. The people they refer to as "zombies" aren't just "zombies" because they are optimistic about the team, they're "zombies" because they quite literally demand they also be optimistic or else shown blatant disrespect.

 

...like buying season tickets for a team you know isn't going to win much.
