Hes a 1st rounder that everyone was pretty high on. Im not seeing the bad sign. If it was Josh Johnson or Byron Lefwich then sure, but Freemans a very talented kid. believe it or not i was much more afraid of the Jets staying with their original draft slot and taking Freeman than i was when the traded up for sanchez.

well, you brough up the fact that there was several drops by Freemans receivers. My point was that Henne had the same problem. Ginn dropped one, caught one out of bounds... I believe Bess dropped a pass as well... :shifty::shifty:

yes, except that has nothing to do with anything. i was simply commenting on how well he performed, Henne had nothing to do with it.

not really, the Bucs were widely panned for drafting a guy who threw a lot of picks and made poor decisions in college and came out a year too early. he's exceeded expectations BIG time.

We may have limped into this spot but at least there's still something in front of us. We string together 3 more wins in a row and we'll be in the drivers seat to defend the division.

Not an easy task but there it is....

If we can go up and get a win against the Panthers, I like our chances to at least make a run of it.

Wasn't Pennington 0-3 to start the season? Henne is 5-3. How do we miss Pennington?

That dude has some kind of beef with Henne. Henne must've kicked his dog or stole his girlfriend or something.

Nevermind the fact Henne's TD % is double what Pennington's was. Also does anyone notice that on "3rd & longs" (I think we had a 3rd and 15 at one point in this game) Henne actually throws past the sticks, and generally on target.

And his ability to bounce back after that bad INT shows a lot of saavy. The Ray Lucas' and Jay Fiedlers' of the past would've crumbled.

I just see you hating on him.

I was cursing Ginn on that play. He doesn't even try to get any yardage up field. He just runs straight to the sidelines. When he got close to the sidelines, he had open field if he would of turned to his left. Would have been an awesome return.

IMO, we could just cut him today and I wouldn't lose any sleep.

    So true.

Henne is a special talent. He does need to learn how to throw a soft touch on occasion. I love his accuracy.

Please get out of here with that 'didn't deserve to win' mess. If all of Freeman's fumbles didn't conveniently bounce into Tampa players' hands we're looking at a blowout. They were lucky to be in it despite the weird call with the JT interception.

Limp, Crawl, Stumble, Back in, whatever, however it got done, it got done.

We have seperated from the Jets and Bills and picked up a game on the Patriots, winning ugly is still "winning".

Some teams limp into hoisting Lombardi Trophies. If I'm not mistaken....they still get jewelery from Tiffany's. #justsaying

Pennington was 0-2 and got hurt in the Chargers game while we were behind, Henne came in and threw a pick-six that made it hopeless. So I guess I would say Pennington was 0-2 1/2 and Henne is 4-2 1/2.

There are times when I miss Pennington. He's very smart and experienced and is (was) better things like avoiding sacks than a relatively raw guy like Henne. But even before he got hurt he was less effective than he had been the year before. Maybe he would have turned it around, but it's a moot point now.

I might be huge minority here.
But I think that conventional offense with ricky as our full time RB is what Henne needs to get in a rhythm.
