He drafted Henne because he was a very good value at that point, Beck is still an unknown commodity and there needs to be competition and depth at every position.
Right on man!!! If Bill Parcells wasn't sold on Beck at all, he would of pick up Matt in the draft,and if he was 100% "sold " on Henne he would have taken him with the 32 pick, but he didn't.He let him fall to him. Meaning it's nice to have Henne, but they had planned to play this year without him.Kind of like last year, with Beck. It's funny for the better part of ten years i've seen people fight over who are next great QB will be.................lol and everyone taking a side in them fights has been wrong, lol. So all of you who have been doing that should think about that,,,,, then go to some Tampa Bay site and tell them how much their QB's suck!!!!
I agree bro. I think he has had his chances to start in other places. If John Beck and Chad Henne are not doing good and we are in the same spot we were in last year 0 - 14 record near the end of the season we need to put Josh McCown in.
i didnt realize how pathetic the miami defense looked i mean i sort of expected the offense to have a lot of younger players but i thought the D would atleast be solid still...weird not seeing zach and jt in there
