Final Preseason game: Titans at Dolphins

I only recall 1 person, Dont know who he was. #69? i think it was

 

Quarter full stadium tonight. Was pretty loud with a lackadaisical crowd

Umm, I just watched the highlights, and this is a serious question: did Daniel Thomas just make the team??

My reasons that he may:

(Positives)

- big back who could be used in goal line/short yardage situations (sort of a pseudo-FB if you will)
- caused a fumble on STs (can he contribute on STs?)
- good blocker as a back
- if I recall, has decent hands out of the backfield? (could be wrong on this one, though)

(Negatives)

- his first name is Daniel
- last name: Thomas

 

Daniel Thomas would need to all of a sudden become superman to make this team. Cause if he does make the team the world has gone to **** and random unrealistic **** is happening all over the place.

 

I just have this gut feeling he has a shot at making the 53. Not necessarily as a back. Just a body that is big and fast and can hit on STs. Is he familiar with this style of offense? Miami does not possess that 1-yard person. That one yard guy can make a team, esp. if he does well in STs. He can block.

I don't know. Sounds weird, I know. But I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the 53. I won't be mad if he doesn't. But sometimes niche guys make teams even when they suck at their "normal" position.
