Smart, very smart move by Brett. The sooner he reinstated himself, the sooner Thompson would be forced to trade him. Green Bay now cannot be looking for a 1st or 2nd round pick for him as it will be a circus starting tomorrow or Thursday.

    Let the fun begin.

    Good job Brett.

Well here it goes. I guess we'll know how the Favre saga will play out in the next week or so. Also if they can't get a high draft pick I wonder what other teams may become involved?

Ugh. Listen Farve going to the jets is 0%.He wont play for them

Its either start for GB or be released. If traded to a team he doesn't want to go to he will not report.

What BK means is that he will go to the Vikings under BK's terms.

Well that puts Green Bay in quite the pickle ... I do think Brett still has a lot to offer, I just thing the entire situation has been mismanaged, by both sides. Green Bay seemed all to eager to jettison him, but Favre hasn't helped matters with his waffling back and forth.

I can't see him starting, after Rogers was promised the job.
I can't see him staying in Green Bay and sitting behind Rogers.
I can't see him getting released.
I can't see him getting traded.

I'm glad this is not our team dealing with this distraction.

Favre has the Pack by their balls. He has held the cards all along. The only way they don't make the worst move in NFL history by giving him to the rival Vikings is to go back on your word and start Favre.

Poor Aaron Rodgers would be screwed if that happened.
