The question is, "what does Haley think about it?"

I've seen nothing that suggests Haley will limit Charles' snaps.

He's limited him quite a bit in TC and preseason so I wouldn't be surprised.

I just don't like betting on boom or bust players when there are more consistent options with close to as high of a ceiling.

Not really limited so much as kept out as a motivational tool. Haley didn't like Charles' effort early in camp. Charles stepped it up and "regained" his starting job. Haley's happy with him.

Local sports radio seems to think it is going to be a 50/50 or 60/40 split ... though they think Charles's talent may force Haley to play him more than he wants.

Charles' talent and Thomas Jones' age. :shifty:

Right, but do you really think JC has already done enough to take TJ that far out of the picture? I don't think it's that cut and dry.

I think he'll have to win a bigger role early in the season. I'm sure he will if he stays healthy, but it'll prob take a few weeks.

Again, I see no reason to question his health for week one.

    But I get your point.

Ya, I'm not questioning his health as much as if he's going to get enough work to be more productive than Crabtree in Week 1.

    For me that's doubtful.

But I have been wrong once, maybe even twice..

Rivers against KC but I'd watch the weather for both games.

Wells sat out of practice today and if for some reason he misses this week, then Hightower is the man.

    If not, I'd go Harrison.

    Basically

    Hakeem Nicks @ Carolina
    Jabar Gaffney @ Jacksonville

I was leaning nicks all the way, but Carolina has a stout defense, and Jax doesn't. Gaffney looks to be a fav target of Orton, who has played well

Just for future ref with the matchups.

Still, Nicks by a ton. Way better offense in general.

I'd go Nicks bc I just don't see Spiller carving us up on the ground.

If it was PPR I'd take Spiller tho bc I think BUF will try to hit him on a lot of screens and dump-offs.

Believe it or not Rivers isn't all that great against KC. He's thrown 20% of his career interceptions against them. KC also managed a total of half their sack total when playing the Chargers last year. Plus you have to factor in that San Diego often starts slow ... didn't they nearly get beat by Oakland last year?

    Get off my lawn.
Reg League... no PPR... Two questions...

    Eli Manning vs CAR
    or
    Don McNabb vs DAL

    Michael Crabtree @ SEA
    or
    Knowshon Moreno @ JAC

Moreno vs Crab is a tough call though.

I hear that, but Palmer isn't exactly a beacon of confidence either.

That decision really depends a lot on the weather for me.

If that SD game is in KC and the wind gets going then Palmer it is.

Revisiting this post because Beanie missed practice for a second time. Guys who don't practice don't play.

Unless you get confirmation that Wells is playing, go with Jones and Forsett. Or Greene if you want a boom/bust play.

Yup and Wiz's comments on it were game-time decision.

So even if he does play it'll prob mean he'll be limited. Avoid.

    Flex question this week.

I have Jamaal Charles (home vs SD) starting in my flex.

Only 2 other options I would play are:

    Malcom Floyd @ KC
    Jabar Gaffney @ JAC

    Charles right?

NO PPR, .1 for every 1 yard rush/rec, 6 points for every TD in any fashion.

someone just offered me a trade and I accepted immediatly

    Brandon Marshall for Johnny Knox

    Now my team is

    Brady/Flacco
    Mendenhall/McCoy/R.Brown/Forsett
    A.Johnson/R.White/Marshall/Nicks/TO/L.Evans/Mike Williams(SEA)
    V.Shiancoe

Damn I would hav given him TO as well if he wanted it hahaha

    Okay.

    Calvin Johnson got screwed.
    Michael Crabtree is doing nothing.
    Percy Harvin did nothing.
I left Darren McFadden on the bench in PPR.
Kevin Kolb is out for the rest of the game with a concussion.

So, I need some advice. Handgun in the mouth, cyanide, or do I just jump off my roof?
