Ingram and Moncrief. Wouldnt think twice. CJ is such a plodder at this point and he doesnt score TDs so very low upside there. Id rather take the boom or bust upside of Moncrief. And the Bears...theres no D in Chicago...or Bears...or anywhere on that team. Theyve quit on Trestman.
I came in tonight only down 8. I have Cutler, Forte, Jeffrey. He has Stills. I'm down 19. This is pathetic. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
Not gonna matter, they bring Ingram in and run him into the LOS on 1st down then bring in Pierre Thomas. I don't see 14 yards for Mark in the 4th.
Yea that's ridiculous. I was up 37 points last Monday in my PPR league....my opponent had Julio Jones. MNF sucks for me lately
I won by about 33. Game was so much closer than that. I was seriously worried until a few minutes left in the game. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
Craziest scenario in my FFL history... Saints running out clock I'm down 2 Ingram breaks a 21 yard TD....my buddy on the other side of the bracket was down 8 points...Alshon Jefferey has a 42 yard catch and a TD with seconds left to win by 2. I truly feel for the victims of this chain of events.
In the championship this coming week. Will post my roster and take suggestions soon. Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 4
Okay, I'm a little screwed. I play in a very competitive 10 team league. I'm in the playoffs for the first time in 3 years and won the first round and in championship this weekend. My stud is DeMarco Murray #$@!@# crap, my thoroughbred has surgery on his broken hand right before my championship game. playing Murray seems like a huge risk. even if he plays, he could have very limited carries. I could promote Mark Ingram from my bench, he's playing ATL, but he hasn't broken double digit points since week 9. Or do I pick up Matt Asiata vs dolphins this weekend or Joseph Randle (Murray's backup)? I haven't won the championship in this league in 14 years, so I'm pretty stressed out over the pressure. Drew Brees RB: ??? WR: Calvin Johnson Flex: Emmanuel Sanders Flex: Kelvin Benjamin TE: Owen Daniels Def: New England or Miami (played New England last week which one me the playoff game) BENCH: Mark Ingram, Steve Smith, Sammy Watkins
You promote Ingram and pick up randle (for Steve Smith) to start for Sanders or Benjamin imo provided the scoring works to the rb advantage which it does unless its full point PPR. Dallas runs the ball as much as anyone, part of that is because Murray is a stud and partially because romo has a busted back but it doesnt really matter why other then the fact that they do. Typically theyre pretty close to 50-50 run pass. Ingram is playing for a contract; time share or not, hes playing Atlanta which plain and simple means stat padding and the division on the line.
very reasonable Boik. yeah, I actually put in a waiver wire pick this morning for Randle over Smith this morning. It's a PPR league, but not full point, it's 1/4. It just feels like in the championship, it's too risky to play Murray, even though they expect him to play
Ingram was on my bench this week, but he scored 9 points. partial PPR league. TD's are 6 points. (5 points for QBs)
I wouldnt give up on Murray just yet. Remember the injury is to his non ball carrying hand (*pause*). But yeah, either he or Randle starts at RB and Ingram at flex imo..
I'm so annoyed. I picked up Randle this week just in case.... and then dropped him after the game b/c there were no reports of him being injured. .... although, in my Clemson league [Championship game] I have Murray, so I hope he declares himself good to go. However, I don't know if it's a good thing or bad if he's expected to start. Who'd get more touches and points, a banged up Murray [who poses a risk to either exit early b/c of his injuring or cede a bunch of touches to Randle & Dunbar] or Randle getting the bulk of the early down work?
that's the million dollar question. the bastard I'm playing in championship picked up Randle solely so I couldn't grab him. I picked up Matt Asiata as a backup. might be a decent flex option vs Miami this week.
I'm pretty sure Murray is playing. He's practicing and the injury is to his non ball carrying hand (pause). Part if that may be wishful thinking since I have Murray in my biggest pay league heading in to finals week and the team I'm playing had more FAAB dollars left and outbid me for Joseph randle but part of this comes down to the fact that the cowboys actually still can get playoff homefield and/or a division title. Too much at stake to have him dress for the hell of it. My backs right now in said league are looking weak. Tre mason is starting because the giants run d is charmin soft. I have either Murray starting or Donald brown (provided Mathews is still out which he probably will be because he usually is). Had to cut cj spiller and denard Robinson in that league when they got hurt earlier. It will be up to romo/megatron/Gordon/Cobb/Olsen/Eagles D to carry me.
Yeah I never planned on rolling with Cutler against Detroit. It just made me feel better about my decision.
I was thinking about Asiata, too..... but alas, some other idiot already picked him up. On a side note, I'm really tempted to consider Gerhart at Flex TBH. Could end up a sneaky good play.
You know what, I've been thinking on this one..... and I've come to the conclusion that Murray ends up going off. In my version, he draws inspiration from Dez's crazy 11 catch, 153 yard, broken finger game against GB and Romo's broken-rib/punctured-lung comeback performance against San Fran which have set a standard he feels he has to meet in order to maintain the respect of the team...... so Demarco enters a super-determination mode to offset any pain and it takes him to a monster day. You'd consider Brown over Oliver? Oliver might be a sneaky good play as well against San Fran now that they're down to 3rd string linebackers.
Some loser already grabbed Oliver earlier in the year and made a great call picking him up before he broke out. I think gerharts available but I don't have the balls to do that after last year when I benched roddy white vs sf on a hunch and white went off. Lost the championship by like 7 points as opposed to winning by like 15. I'll prob start Murray and mason and go with Colston or Jennings at flex, probably Colston.
Ray McDonald the rapist now added to the long list missing from San Fran's D- Willis, Bowman, Borland, Dorsey, Ian Williams, and Chris Cook, plus whomever below who doesn't suit up FWIW.
Fudge, my championship game in The Clemson Insider league is gonna come down to me trailing heading into Monday night with my season hinging on how much ground Peyton Manning and AJ Green make up.
Flex Help pls...losing Andre Ellington has hurt this spot. SB, non ppr, big play bonuses.. Wallace M. Bryant J. Randle (obvious play if Murray out) D. Sproles
Gotta go martavis Bryant IMO if Murray is out. Sproles is only an option if return yards count IMO. You could go Wallace but I personally believe our phins have mailed it in
looks like Murray will start, but still no clue on how much he will score. now it's down to Murray or Kelvin Benjamin or Emmanuel Sanders for 2 spots in the championship game. Both WR have been very consistent this year for me, and a major reason I made it this far, but but neither has broke 9 points in a month (sanders hasn't broken 6 points). I have to go with the homerun with Murray and pray to Shiva he plays and the game is close so he stays in and I'm leaning towards Benjamin over Sanders.
Murray has to be a start if he plays. Too much upside. Id be leaning Sanders over Benjamin if Haden is a go for Cleveland. Without Haden it becomes more of a toss up. Haden's done a number on a lot of good wr's. Plus Cincinnati over the last few years has been a team that melts in prime time or playoff games. Denver's been toning done the passing the last few weeks...we should be seeing a 300 yard 3 td vintage manning game.
I benched E Sanders and promoted Kelvin Benjamin. also moved Ingram up into my Flex. I have Asiata on my bench but kept him there. I see Miami's run D playing better this week.
On the plus side, Jeremy Hill making me look like a genius prognosticator for taking him 8th overall in the fantasy draft and professing he'd be an RB1 down the home stretch and firmly ahead of Gio.
