Well if you cared about this on the 360 now you can care about it on the PS3 as its been confirmed now. Now I can facebook on the xmb and twitter my Uncharted 2 progress (twitter is probably soon to follow this)...yay! Nice move though and the PSN v Live debate I think is getting a little closer.
if Sony can get cross game chat, party chat, and the ability to switch chat channels in, they'll really have a good thing going.
