Yeah Gross is a better and younger version of our own Vernon Carey. Versatile guy just now hitting his prime.
Yeah, he was drafted to play as a RT ... this was his first year starting at LT, though he had played there off and on in the past. He's a great young player.
Gross was an All Pro at LT....he started his career but made a very good transition to the left side. The Panthers starting RT last year was Jeff Otah. Good pickup K.C
Talk about an expensive line though: Jordan Gross (9.0M) Branden Albert (500K) Jason Brown (12.0M) Brian Water (3.6M) Damion Macintosh (2.15M) 27.25M on his starting offense line... 40.6% is invested in his starting offense line...
The Oakland Raiders are making a strong case that they will have the best CB tandem, and most assuredly the highest paid, in the NFL.
How did that work out last year with DeAngelo Hall? Al Davis is sure to release Gamble half way threw the season
How lucky is DeAngelo Hall though? Oakland overpayed last year, and this year it's Washington. He's got consecutive offseason Christmases.
The whole 48 hrs thing is frustrating, IMO. I thought I would come home to a freshly signed lot of players only to see that they were bid on again lets see if it takes ANOTHER 36 hrs for anyone to counter this time.
actually, I have a recommndation for the 2010 league.. I would lower the 10 bids per team at a time to 5... but then have 3 bids per team at the minimum number $300,000... so you could have 8 total... I think that would cut down the bidding up of players that "may" be happening.
Enforcer, Alen lets start a club to those who could have had players but were bid on at the last second
Happens every year, last year I had a guy I was about to sign.. one minute before he was signed to my team, someone bid on him. Consider yourselves lucky...
