I have none… As I tell my kids (al be it jokingly), IF you have no expectations you will never be disappointed! Here is to hoping the Fins have a great season...
Lowered from 9-7 possible wild card if we lose to the Browns. From 1992-2002 the Dolphins won every opening game. Never had a losing record. Since 2003 we've won one opening game. And lost 4 straight to the Browns going back to 2004 after dominating the series before that. Hence why an opening game against the Browns seems important to me.
@ CLE - W @ IND - W ATL - L @ NO - L BAL - L BUF - W @ NE - L CIN - L @ TB - W SD - W CAR - L @ NYJ - W @ PIT - W NE - W @ BUF - L NYJ - W Browns were an imporant game IMO because they have a solid D, and a crappy offense, yet we've struggled with them recently. And with other teams who are similar (Jets, Cards, Bills last year). I'll keep my pre-season 9-7 expectation. Our run game needs a lot of work...I don't care if the Browns have a tough D. 2nd worst rushing performance in franchise history. D can still be sketchy at times, Browns have a bad offense. But we hit hard and can finally create turnovers. But we'll see the next few weeks...toughest stretch of the season the next 4 games.
