It's like the fans on this board are the only ones who are asking why this is happening but the reporters don't care lol. I want to know, dammit. Thirteen different coverages is ridiculous. I agree with Sparano that's too much. I understand you want to confuse the quarterback but I think at that point, you might be confusing your own players.
Reminds me of some of the breakdowns you saw with our defense under Saban. Players start second guessing where they should be covering and become a step or two late.
Haha, yeah. Saban's settled down now though or at least it appears that way when I watch Alabama. A lot of Cover 1 and Cover 3 with a mix of his ILB's dropping down the pipe.
