Those are the players fighting to see the field, and to think a couple of years ago we had Q Moses and not much else to look forward to.

    Some praise for Walden:

Not bad, but he is ahead of Wake in terms of playing last season and playing in pads before.

    As for Wake:

I like our situation heading into Training Camp, we have three "proven" OLB's in JP,JT and Roth, with two really good prospects behind them in Walden and Wake, and both have played DE.

As we head into training camp in a month, the situation will become clearer as all we really have to go on is fellow teammates appraisals and needless to say...they aren't going to say if a guy is a scrub.

BTW, Charlie Anderson is not a terrible player either.

good to see an article on the "scrub" linebackers padre.

a while back brandon london had an interview and he said walden is the one guy he would pick on the whole team who the fans might not know about that would improve the best. i know that might not mean too much because some folks here see london being cut in favor of one of the new WRers.. but it was said.

Well, if one looked at the OLB corps one of the thing that sticks out is the starters and key backups are experienced players, that is the one thing EW does not posses as of yet, Anderson, Wake, Moses those guys have been in the league (or a league) for a couple of years and have seen action on the field.

EW is still an unknown ST guy and OLB conversion who has not played very much.
