This thing is INSANE. THey didnt get the revised contract back until 7 minutes after the deadline and had to release him. There's your Oppo Taco pass rusher alongside Cam Wake, Ireland.
Elvis Dumervil is now a free agent... Elway and company finally have a major screw up thanks to Dumervil's agent. If I am Ross I am fueling up the jet and picking Elvis up tonight. Series of events:
And Horseface was getting praise by all the media jockriders for the Welker deal. I know it probably wasn't Horseface but Dumerville agent's fault, but it makes me happy nonetheless.

OmarKelly So is Elvis Dumervil released or not released? I'm confused. One could say the Elvis situation ahs nothing to do with being confused.
We really don't know what he wants. He'll have trouble making as much next year as he would have at this point in FA.
His contract was the 2nd highest at that position behind Mario Williams at $43.156 million over 6 years. He agreed to $8 million in a restructured deal in Denver. So I would assume he is coming in between $8-10. Wake's deal is 4 years $49 million, $20 mil guaranteed. Wakes deal put him at 12th on the list.
Can anyone imagine the nuclear level vag bleeding our fans would have about Ireland if an agent for Wake did this? It would be so bad, I'd have to take up watching curling.
With most of the fanbase happy after the free agent signings, looks like you've taken to defending Jeffrey on hypotheticals now.
it was a jab at the "vag bleeders" if anything ! To perceive it as a defense in Ireland's case would be very telling though ! Any psychiatrists ?
@BenVolinPBP RT @AndrewSiciliano: Dumervil reportedly was trying to do his part of the deal from a Kinko's in Miami...seriously. Omg lol... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
Nevermind. Dumervil is already in Miami. Seems part of this whole debacle is that he is in Miami, his agent is in PA and Denver is where they should be. So if Ireland wants to meet with Dumervil, well...he is right there for the taking.
Someone call in an airport bomb threat! Don't let him leave! Take one for the team if needed; 72 Fins cheerleaders await you in Heaven.
Wait a minute. Are you saying 72... current fins cheerleaders? Or 61 year old "cheerleaders" from the 1972 season? Because the answer is "yes, I'll do it"
Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reports Elvis Dumervil's agent intends to call the Dolphins because the DE would like to play for Miami.
Fwiw... Wonder if he wants to play here because of what we're building or because he saw some contracts we gave out earlier?
Can't sign him and Jake unless he takes something more in line with what Bennett got I believe, or unless we make a couple cuts. I mean potentially you could get Dumervil and Winston (or Vollmer?), but I'd rather have Long back (especially with how his linemates have been supporting him coming back). Also, Wake might not like making less than Dumervil.
For the right money, he would be awesome as a "pass rush specialist". I would still look at a stud DE at pick #12, but right now it looks like Miami could just go BPA.
I can neither agree or disagree, because the way cap hits are figured up seems like someone speaking Chinese backwards to me.
While true, Dumervil and Long both seem like guys who would want money right now (and I don't mean that as a negative against them personally). Dumervil because he basically just lost at least $8M guaranteed (I believe), and Long because while he may believe in himself, the chance for more injury has to worry him at least to some degree.
