OK, time for "Mom's Brag Book" here ... My son played H.S. football in Virginia (Oakton H.S.) and played against Eddie Royal (Westfield H.S.). They were both on the "Golden 11" (all-star) team in 2002, and my son beat him for "Offensive Player of the Year!" My husband and I are having fun watching Eddie play; BUT.... not today!
He's off to law school -- and is even smaller than Eddie Royal! He was a QB who ran the option/wildcat and took his team to the state championship game for the first time ever.... but lost 6-0 (boooo). Actually, the same all-star team included Shawn Merriman and Vernon Davis -- how cool is THAT?????
playing highschool in south florida I played against a ton of guys.....antone smith runningback at fla state.....jarrod brown backup qb at west virgina.....played little league with jacoby ford who's at clemson...and I weighed too much and played in older division in city league and got to play against anquan boldin twice when he was on pahokees team...... good stuff....good times...
