This really screws me in my fantasy league:

I immediately picked up DesSean Jackson in the hopes that he takes the number 1 spot. I really had high hopes for Curtis this year though so this news blows.

This is the same injury that kept McNabb out a couple years ago I believe. Not a good thing for them especially since he's probably their best receiver. As for DeSean Jackson, he has looked good in pre-season for them. I was watching him against the Panthers and he did a job well done. He had 7 catches for 71 yards I believe that game and got separation. He's a small guy though, only weighs 169 lbs. Jackson also had success returning punts, had a 29 yard return if I remember correctly. Needs to learn to wrap the ball up though. Overall, Jackson looks pretty good out there and likely will be a slot receiver imo for them.

Yea I dont mind Jackson but Im just wondering if hes going to get the bulk of the looks in the offense. And yea, McNabb had that sports hernia too. Thats a real bad injury bc it can be extremely nagging.

I think you'll see him be the second or third option. Number one will be Reggie Brown then probably Hank Baskett. He could be the number two option because he is more dynamic than Baskett. We'll have to see how he progresses and see how it goes on opening day. I know they really like him though.

Reggie Brown is hurt too though so thats why I picked up Jackson. I might grab Baskett in case and just go with whoever looks better for week 1.

Brown is injured as well? Oh God. Jackson will make plays for them then. He will get a lot of looks imo, could be their next option after Westbrook.

Yea, Brown has a lingering hamstring injury and he left the last preseason game because of it. I know hes missing the next game so if Jackson shows up maybe he does take that spot.

Brown's hamstring is described as not serious. He'll be back in time for the season, apparently.

But now's a really nice time to pick up DeSean Jackson...

Just a heads up for you guys who do have Hank Baskett on your fantasy team, he has reportedly looked good out there and they really like what they are seeing from him.

I knew someone would bring that up lol and I guarantee you it won't happen. The Cardinals will want a first round pick and likely a player back with that. Andy Reid said that the team is fine right now.
