If Akers makes the Extra Point they don't go for the 2 pt conversion. If they get the extra point and he makes a 47 yd FG the Eagles would only need a FG right here to win...I think my math is correct there. But watch--if Donovan McNabb doesn't take them down to score, he will get it for the loss rather than the guy that should--David Akers.
4th and 10... McNabb started this drive well, but his accuracy has went to crap the last three throws.
I wouldn't say "wiiiiiiiiiiiide open" He had Dansby spying over the middle that he needed to throw over and Rodgers-Cromartie although trailing him was on his hip, including a heavy pass rush in his face. Not an easy throw by any means. Now the Baskett throw, even though being rushed was much easier as he was "wiiiiiiiiide open".
When the Cards needed someone to step up and make a play, no one made one for them. Wow...live long enough and you can even see the Cardinals in the Super Bowl..

Yeah, I just think its one of those things where, if you call it people could argue about it and say it was a bad call, or if you don't call it people can argue about it and say it was a bad no-call. Curtis still could've caught it so, it doesn't matter IMO.
My goodness what a year. A 1-15 teams wins 10 more than the year before to make the playoffs, a 4-12 team scarred by a QB and his legal issues makes the playoffs, and then the Cardinals and a 5-11 Ravens team from one year ago could be playing in the Super Bowl. Amazing.

I'm surprised at how good the Cards fans have been during the playoffs. I remember when I went to a game there to watch the Cardinals and Broncos in 2006, us Bronco fans outnumbered them pretty much. We were way louder too.

Maybe They'll finally get McNabb a real #1 WR... There isn't a guy in the league right now doing more with less. I feel badly for him.

I'm ecstatic the Cardinals won. I was hoping they would go to the Super Bowl. Kurt Warner deserves it. Now I'm torn - I hate the Ravens, but don't like the Stillers either.
