he bizarre situation in Philly with guard Shawn Andrews continues to move along with no sign of a resolution.

Andrews didn’t show up for camp on Thursday, and his absence is unexcused. He’s being fined more than $15,000 per day.

The team and the player’s agent are saying nothing about the situation, which is prompting wild rumors to circulate about his status, per the Philadelphia Daily News.

If, as some hypothesize, Andrews has some type of emotional or psychological issue, his agent needs to get him evaluated by a doctor and secure appropriate paperwork to exercise Andrews’ rights under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
