That was the absolute first thing I tried. Now I feel not-so-dumb. I'm going to try again though.

My computer started doing weird things with Flash about a month ago. Could very well be the problem here I suspect.

Yeah I usually use Avant Browser, but I tried it in FireFox, Google Chrome and IE. Same result. Flash is downloaded and enabled....videos work on youtube and stuff just not when they are embedded on a site.

What kind of internet security do you have? Try disabling it and see if it works.

I use McAfee because it's free from Comcast. Turned that off and it's the same. Maybe I accidently turned on the windows firewall thing....I'll try that now.

EDIT: Nope that isnt on either.

    :chuckle:

I'm the 'unofficial' IT guy at my job. We have an outside company that comes in and fixes the royal screw ups, I just handle the average day to day ones.

"Why are my E-mails out of order?" "Uh, cause you accidentally sorted them by subject."

"Why is my computer so slow?" "Uh those 1500 viruses and trojans you picked up while surfing the bestiality sites may have something to do with that."

Last time my boss had a problem that I couldn't fix I told him to call our outside IT company and tell them he had an ID10T error. :chuckle: Me and the dude that came out to fix it had a good laugh over that.

Trust me I would never do something THAT dumb  the email thing is gold.

Thats what I can't figure out....it's that I HAVENT done anything different, and everything is installed and running properly....maybe I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling some stuff. That works sometimes.

When all else fails......boot into safe mode. I don't see what you could have changed to make Adobe stop working on multiple browsers.

Sounds like you installed several browsers, you may have a conflect in there, uninstall them all, the reinstall the one you want to use. Hope that works for you.

I'll try that because I haven't been able to solve this issue yet. I've always had FireFox (even though I dont use it) but I did recently install Google Chrome.
