I am missing something? I can not find it . Maybe someone can link it. In the past it had a lot of great info on prospects . Hope it did not end due to the economy. Any help will be nice. Ty up front.
Short answer short, life sucks, things get in the way, Simon and Richard had to drop out because of said things, I thought I could handle the reins myself and turned out dreadfully wrong, wrote a nice piece on Cordarrelle Patterson and haven't been able to repeat it, but now I've got some things written that I am thinking about sending to Dave along with a profuse apology and the promise of more. I've got a full position breakdown of the WRs unit already hatched. It's just waiting for two videos to finish up. I'll be moving on to some other positions and hopefully get them all before the Draft is here.
Boomer = British = quit. Con = Basically an islander = quit. CK = American = hell with it, I'll do it my damn self. USA, USA, USA, USA!!!!!!! America **** yeah.
I'm glad you guys have a sense of humor. For Boomer, CK, Con, I always wondered something. I realize Draft Winds wasn't a Dolphin fan site, but the three of you collectively put in a TON of work. I'm watching CK post now, and it's looking like 30+ hours a week between here and Twitter. How frustrating is it to scout hundreds of guys and watch Jeff Ireland go against the grain to do whatever it is that Jeff Ireland does? You go through all the trouble to identify good guys for our team (and others) and these guys are passed over for some overweight guard from Utah Polytechnic. I would pull out my hair.
It is a good deal of work. And it honestly just became too much to handle. But with regards to the frustration, it doesn't bother me too much. It is interesting to see how guys you like do compared to the ones you didn't. Ultimately what the organization does is out of my control, so it doesn't make sense to stress about it.
I had to get new hamsters this year, and they just don't run as fast so I can't watch TV as much. Its the economy, I was facing budget cutbacks and pure bred hamsters are a hot commodity. It is what it is.
Well, it was great while it lasted, and Chris, don't kil yourself trying to do the work of ten men... maybe pare back the ambitious depth to which you go into each position... or quit your day job so we can have our analysis. Seriously, thanks to Simon and Richard for all the hard work in past years, and Chris for past and present. I've a feeling this is Draft Winds' swansong.
thanks for what draft did ,it was great. it will be sad not to have it . con you are right it is what it is. thanks for your hard work guys.
