This. I know who I'm taking at 111 unless he gets snatched up which is a possibility.

Actually I didn't lol. I wasn't focused on the WR position so I ignored it but I think Mitchell went right where he should go. He's inconsistent IMO.

I think he's inconsistent too, but that's why I had qualified my original statement with "in this league."

Indeed he does. But he wont carry your team through the regular season. I feel Ive given Peyton what he has has never had, a dominant run blocking OL so its not all on peyton anymore. Hes got a serious stud defense thats going to come at opponents in waves. The depth on my defense is pretty darn good imo.

but i have an offensive line that has four returning starters. you are starting two raw rookies at the critical positions of C and LOT. Long term its a good move but 2010 would be a brutal season for Peyton. You would have to be a running team just to keep Peyton healthy enough to finish the season. Guarantee if this was real Eli would have a better year than Peyton in 2010

BTW love what you did on defense. It might be another case where you would need to wait till 2011 to get the rewards but awesome talent acquisition

Talent acquisition is the first and foremost job of a GM. Its the coaches job to make it work as long as the GM is not bringing in delinquents. I brought in 1 player with questionable character, Mike Williams, because I felt one is a number that a coach should be able to handle.

As far as OL, its not the first time Peyton has dealt with having a rookie LT. Ugoh, Charlie Johnson, among others started or saw significant playing time as rookies. Its the first time he will have a rookie C since Saturday was a rookie but again Tennant in the early 4th represented an insane value. At no point would I ever guarantee Eli would have a better season then Peyton even if you gave Peyton Eli's supporting cast and vice versa. Peyton's that much better.

Thanks for the nice words :hi5:

I actually thought the Major Wright pick was a very good one. I thought about taking him when I traded up in the 3rd round, but I thought Chad Jones had a higher upside. Mike Mayock has him as his 5th safety.

I think Wright should be a 3rd rounder, though there are like 5 safeties I like more.
