http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/j...g-to-may-but-no-vote-to-decide-has-been-taken It seems it would be a temporary measure.Opinions ? It probably will be tough on the FAs who do not get signed in the first round of signings .
As a fan, I'd be disappointed. I already feel like there's too big of a gap between the start of FA and the draft.
another interesting tidbit: did anyone see how they want to change the selection process for the upcoming probowl? sounds like they will go with this format and if it doesn't generate more interest than usual then the probowl is officially canned. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/jason-la-canfora/22008394/nfl-likely-to-draft-format-for-next-pro-bowl
Ugh, hopefully not, I enjoy the league but year round w/o actual, you know, games, would be oversaturation for me at least. Talk talk talk talk talk talk..bleech This is one of the reasons why I like the CFL, season starts in early July, so I can watch actual ballgames rather than the blah blah blah. And the "draft the pro bowl team" sounds like stacking more engines on a biplane and adding wings, "the draft is popular so a pro bowl draft would be popular"
My guess is that the probowl format is more like the Ryder Cup isn't it? Either way, I think this may be the last probowl ever
so its offcial...draft 2014 will be held in may http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9301153/roger-goodell-confirms-nfl-draft-moving-2014
getting closer to my birthday now, so the super bowl is finished on the 1st sunday of february and then what...curious about the other events and their time frames
