I hope to see some offensive speed now (Gates or a Kendall Hunter), but I'm not holding my breath. Good football players first and foremost. Cannon is very attractive.
Edmund Gates it is, good call. Never seen him play but the highlights are telling- straight line speed plus suddenness and shiftiness, and both of those are crucial, especially for a team like us that desperately needs those qualities. Also a very impressive 40" vertical if I heard right. Side note- as to speed and suddenness, that Aldon Smith drafted by the 49rs has it in spades, great first step. I was impressed by what little I saw.
