Dorsey won't appear for re-check The News Glenn Dorsey is not scheduled to appear at the Combine medical re-check next weekend despite concerns by many teams that he has a slight stress fracture in his right tibia, according to Pro Football Weekly. Dorsey showed at his pro-day workout that he was healthy enough to complete a grueling positional workout, but his workout numbers were not particularly impressive. Based on feedback from four teams that have analyzed the results of Dorsey's MRI taken at the Combine, a thin black line did appear in his tibia and it clearly has been slow to heal. Calcium has formed on top of the stress fracture and provides enough support to play through it initially. Eventually, however, at least three team doctors have shared the opinion with their general managers that the fracture eventually will have to crack to heal properly. Our View Despite bypassing the re-visit in Indianapolis, Dorsey will be poked and prodded by the team doctors of the Rams and Falcons in private visits and his leg injuries will be much more heavily scrutinized. http://www.fanballnews.com/nfl/
This really bothers me about him. It really has to make you wonder what he's trying to hide. If he's confident that its healed and theres no health concerns with him, why not just show up. I think he's only hurting himself with this. I sure hope were not considering him with the #1 pick... this should be an important issue to consider about him...
I also hope we don't consider taking him. This is a big freaking red flag that could push him down into the second half of the first round IMHO.
Not a very good idea, Why not just go and get it checked out. Not going will just put him under more scrutiny as to whether he will have chronic knee problems and possibly passing him up.
