This is the most exciting team I've ever seen. How one of us hasn't been hospitalized with heart problems yet is a miracle. With the exception of 3 games (Browns, Saints, Jets) every single game has come down to the last half of the 4th quarter, and every one of those 11 games other than the first Pats game has come down to the last minute if not the very last play. It's amazing and the coaching staff deserves credit for getting these guys in position to make plays when it matters the most. Obviously, we've lost some of them too, but in final minute games, we're 6-4. That's pretty impressive for such a young team.
The Patriots have last possession wins vs Buffalo, NY, New Orleans, Houston, Denver, Atlanta and Cleveland. Last minute losses to Cincy, NY, Miami and Carolina. Just sayin.
Pretty much. This team is uniquely suited to playing close games bc of in uncanny set of strengths and weaknesses. We struggle to hold leads bc we don't have a dependable run game and our D seems to suffer mental lapses when they get a lead to with. OTOH no one can blow us out bc we have a D that can keep us in games plus an O that consistently scores 17-24 points and pretty much all our games have been high teens to mid twenties on both sides.
