Pennington is a good QB and we all know his faults but he didn't lose us either game. In both games we were let down by multiple parties but especially our receivers. In game one Fasano fumbles twice. Those two fumbles cost us that game. Not the only cause but if Fasano doesn't fumble we win period. In game two Ginn drops 2 game winning TD's. Pennington is getting the ball to his receivers but he can't make them catch it and hold onto it. I don't think Henne or White could have done any better. If our receivers don't step up this is going to be a long season for us.
yes some and no some. I was at the fist game and sitting 50yrd line close. Guys are open all day and nothing but dump offs. Nobody with half a brain can argue against the fact that the D lost the game monday night. That being said, we have open guys down field on a lot of plays and our QB cant see them or just plain cant get the ball there. You cant see it all on TV. I'm ready for NON WANNY BALL
Pennington is the starting QB. he will always be blamed. It's part of the pay, part of the job, and part of the glory when everything goes right.
1. It's very presumptuous to say we win game 1 even if Fasano doesn't fumble either time. 2. It's blatantly false to say Ginn dropped two game winning TDs in game 2. 3. This thread really isn't saying anything new, you probably could've found a place for it in the 20 other threads revolving around very similar topics. I'd two star this thread if the option were there. Hopefully someone comes by and gives you 2 death stars out of 5 (*hint hint*).
pennington is definitely not to blame imo...in week 1, the offensive line let us down and pennington couldn't get a pass off...in week 2, the defense didn't step up and our receivers missed on some big play opportunities pennington continues to be solid
