called this one weeks ago, great to see the affirmation
hope Frye does not go away quietly
I believe Thomas is the RealDeal but he remains the only starter who is not a ProvenBull
Competition is the Elixir of Success!

the Orca-5 will eat defense alive & they will have to do exactly that for us to be successful in 2009

Music to my ears, but I hope Brandon Frye gives D Thomas a real fight for the starting spot, then we know we're in good shape if the winner does go down.

That is tremendously good news, Omar K was talking about Thomas going on the PUP list, now he is lifting weights and will be ready for Training Camp?

    How cool is that?

If he's going deep-sea fishing, and catching 100 lb. fish, then:

    1. His chest muscle is 100%; or
    2. He is stupid.

    I hope its #1!

bet the Front Office has asked the same question
I think the guy is probably alright & hitting the gym under supervision
I just want to see Frye or Burger give him a run for his money
& am curious about the progress of Murphy & Quinn

the Orca-5 will have to hit the ground running this year. our success depends on it.

The Orca-5 (however they wind up) will eat defense alive
    I guarantee it!

    the Donald is a beast

    for any Doubting Thomas:
he can make a grown man cry, after knocking him down or out & stepping on him
the guy handles a defensive lineman as if he were a rag doll
Donald Thomas can stop a raging bull in his tracks. the Donald is unmovable, he is a wall
the man knows no pain, knows no with-strain, absolutely mean to the bone
    the Donald is a beast

(having said all that & believing almost every word of it, he is the only remaining unproven amongst four {Proven Bulls} starting linesmen)

Hope he returns & fulfills every expectation but I want to see serious competition @ from Frye & Burger to start @ right guard.
Also would like to see where Murphy is this year in his development & what J.D. Quinn brings to the table :yes:all good news!

It's great to hear that he's doing better, but I'm definitely not getting too excited here. This guy just seems so injury prone and it's only a matter of time before it happens again. I'm not trying to jinx him or any thing. I hope he can come back strong because when and if he's healthy, I think he's got potential to be a real solid player. I guess I'll take a wait and see approach with him. When the contact starts, we'll have a much better feel for how he is coming along. We really need some help and some depth for the interior of the OL.

True, the difference is now Thomas can compete at least, he can make it onto the practice field and show what he has.

Yep, I'm really hoping he can stay healthy, but it's just a little worrisome, IMO.

    :no:not to worry
if he doesn't pan out, there are others to replace him
    however
I think way too much is being made out of the injuries
all offensive linesmen live with pain & injury
the trenches are brutal & unforgiving
Appears to me that the Donald is a Keeper.
    I don't think he will disappoint.
