1-2 are locked with Bengals and Skins. Giants may win 1 more game, vs skins.

By some miracle we stay at 4, Tua is likely there.

Week 11 - Not long now until the Dolphins are in the Superbowl!

The competition grows with the gap between teams diminishing. 2-7 and 3-6 teams could end up tied 3-7 this week.

    Here's the lists:

    Relevant Games:
    Browns 3-6 host Steelers 5-4
    Redskins 1-8 host Jets 2-7
    Dolphins 2-7 host Bills 6-3
    Panthers 5-4 host Falcons 2-7
    Vikings 7-3 host Broncos 3-6
    49ers 8-1 host Cardinals 3-6
    Raiders 5-4 host Bengals 0-9
    Buccaneers 3-6 host Saints 7-2
    Giants - BYE

    Current Draft Standings:
    Bengals 0-9
    Redskins 1-8
    Giants 2-8
    Dolphins 2-7
    Jets 1-7
    Falcons 1-7
    Browns 3-6
    Buccaneers 3-6
    Broncos 3-6

    Predictions:
Bengals 0-10 Do the Bengals beat the Raiders? No. No they don't.
Redskins 1-9 Redskins over the Jets? Trap game? Maybe. I'm struggling to see the Jets continue to fail though, so I give this to game though.
Giants 2-8 BYE week wins. Giants remain where they are.
Dolphins 2-8 Divisional game, at home. Can Miami win this? I actually think they can. But.... I don't think they will. Bills win and remind the Dolphins they have work to do.
Jets 3-7 Not even the Jets lose to the Redskins...right?
Falcons 2-8 The surprise contender for the number 1 pick. What are the Falcons doing down here? Whatever the reason I don't see them beating the Panthers. One team is overcoming adversity, the other is surrendering to it.
Browns 4-6 Come on Cleveland, wasn't this a Superbowl year? Steelers D is getting too good, but maybe an upset here? I'll risk it, Browns win one. Somehow. But probably not.
Buccaneers 3-7 Buccs over Saints anyone? Thought not.
Broncos 3-7 Broncos visit the frozen north...new Palamino rugs for the long house! SKOL!

    New Predicted Standings:
    Bengals 0-10
    Redskins 1-9
    Giants 2-8
    Dolphins 2-8
    Falcons 2-8
    Jets 3-7
    Buccaneers 3-7
    Broncos 3-7
    Browns 4-6*

*When they don't get the upset they'll be just behind the Jets...unless the Jets lose to the Redskins, in which case:

    Bengals 0-10
    Giants 2-8
    Dolphins 2-8
    Jets 2-8
    Redskins 2-8
    Falcons 2-8

Lol i dont know what the Chargers, Rams and Colts were doing in their games against the Steelers but there is absolutely no reason why they should be 5-5.. that is a terrible team that got on a lucky streak.. Mason Rudolph is horrible..

our steelers pick should be in much better position than it is right now.. then i see the rest of their schedule and they got such a cupcake schedule to end the season..

The real Mason Rudolph showed up tonight. The Steelers had a crazy lucky turnover streak which is what was propelling them. They will win a few more, but that offense - especially if some of those players miss time with injury - is not good.

DeCastro and Pouncey will get suspended.. and they got their two top receivers on concussion protocol and Connor with an injury..

The Bengals got John Ross and Aj Green back this week..

maybe the Bengals have a chance to win next week... but only if Andy starts...

Rudolph should surely also be suspended at least a game...
Unless the league knows the Steelers are out of options at QB?
He better not get off scot-free. Unfair to Garret when suffers such a harsh punishment.

The Steelers are going to be very vulnerable going into that game versus the Bengals. No starting HB, no one left at WR, shuffling the OL around a bit, plenty of film on Rudolph now and he is starting to struggle. Their defense might be able to carry them but it's also an away game so no crowd help.

I see the Steelers losing another 3-4 games to close out the season (Browns, Bills, Ravens, and maybe Bengals or Cardinals). So our pick from them should be around the 15th to 18th spot. Way better than the Texans pick which feels like it will be about 28th.

We'd be better served if the Redskins beat the Jets. I've been watching that game and Haskins not only looks like a fish out of the water but he's doing stuff like throwing passes WAY off target that suggest the Redskins should pull an Arizona+Rosen move and pick a new QB in next years draft IF Haskins keeps this up. The guy needs to sit for a year and even then might not work out.

btw.. the Redskins OL is a good example going on right now of an OL allowing lots of "jailbreak" pressure (and lots of pressure in general) though Haskins not knowing what to do is contributing to this for sure.

There are times when maintaining position is likely the best thing that is going to happen. Rooting for the a Redskins win is simply a waste of enegry.

Putting a young QB behind a horrific line is the worst thing you can do. Rarely does anything positive come from that "learning" experience.

From that point of view rooting for any football team is a waste of energy because we have no influence on the outcome. Doesn't change the fact that a Redskins win would be better for us.

Unless - and we can't know this right now - the Redskins aren't picking a QB - then it's less significant - if, also, the Dolphins are planning for a QB.

The Bengals are the team that needs a QB and look like they might not win a game this season. Washington would probably take Young or a LT to help their young QB out. Dan Synder picked Haskins from what I've heard, so I doubt he wants to admit it was a mistake so soon.

If Miami decides they want Burrow, then giving up a couple firsts and a second to the Bengals would be acceptable. I'll keep saying it again and again, but no matter how much success you have building your team, without a legit QB you are not winning anything.

Jumping the gun on the Bengals game here, but with the Falcons win over the Panthers the Browns drop down out the draft rankings.

    New Standings:

    Giants 2-8
    Dolphins 2-8
    Jets 3-7

Guys.. watch the Bengals game. They just went up 7-0. Finley is a rook but isn't out of his depth. HOWEVER.. their running game is just blowing right through the Raiders. At minimum this looks like a competitive game.. at least after quarter #1.

(AJ Green still not playing btw)

This is a truly impressive amount of absolutely butt teams. If the Bengals manage a win, that will set up interesting matchups between us and them and us and the Giants. Those 2 games have a high likelihood of determining the majority of the draft's first few picks.

Bengals are doing it right. They know if they kept Dalton in he could win a few games ala Fitzpatrick.

They're gonna get the hometown kid.

There's a clip of Dalton saying he was told that he's not playing because they have to think about the draft etc.

    Week 12!

    Here's the lists:

    Relevant Games:
    Browns 4-6 host Dolphins 2-8
    Redskins 1-9 host Lions 3-6
    Jets 3-7 host Raiders 6-4
    Bears 4-6 host Giants 2-8
    Falcons 3-7 host Buccaneers 3-7
    Bills 7-3 host Broncos 3-7
    Bengals 0-10 host Steelers 5-5

    Current Draft Standings:
    upload_2019-11-19_12-2-34.png

Predictions - a number of these games look like they could be upsets, we might be in for a weird week:
    - Browns host Dolphins - There's a chance we win this but I think the Browns, even without Myles Garrett, have enough to beat us. They could mess it up, penalties/mistakes could hurt them but I think the Browns win this one. They'll outscore us.
    - Redskins host Lions - Can the Skins pull off an upset. I'm tempted to call it...but I'll go with common sense and a Lions win over an opponent that almost looks to have given up.
    - Jets host Raiders - Raiders are the clear favourites here. I think the Jets have enough talent to beat a Raiders team that is doing well but still not convincing me 100%. But then again, the Jets aren't reliable either. Coaching will mean the Raiders come together and the Jets don't. Raiders win.
    - Bears host Giants - Giants coming in off a bye week. They've been able to score this year, and the Bears haven't been consistent. It's a home game for the Bears which is in their favour, odds are they win, but I'm going to risk it and call an upset here. Giants win.
    - Falcons host Buccaneers - Both teams are 3-7. This might be an ugly game, but the Buccaneers have put some serious points us this year. The Falcons not so much. I'm going with the more consistent scoring - Tampa win.
    - Bills host Broncos - Broncos have struggled to score this season. The Bills defense is looking good. Bills win.
    - Bengals host Steelers - It's hard to even consider a win for the Browns this year, but, the Steelers haven't been amazing and they might be without JuJu and M. Pouncey. Ordinarily this would be a chance for an upset, but, it seems the Bengals are legitimately tanking. That wins the day - Steelers win.

    New Predicted Standings:
    Bengals 0-11
    Redskins 1-10
    Dolphins 2-9
    Falcons 2-9
    Giants 3-8
    Jets 3-8
    Broncos 3-8
    Buccaneers 4-7

Lions play every game close. Could a 4 INT game by Det win this for the Skins?

    Jests beat the Raiders.

Didn't feel the Giants could beat the Bears but the QB situation changes that.

Falcons 3-7 host Buccaneers 3-7. I'd take a tie here.

Bills 7-3 host Broncos 3-7. Probably not going to happen for Denver.

Bengals 0-10 host Steelers 5-5. Only the Steeler injuries make this a possibility.

Colts @ Hou. Go Colts! Colts can take control of the division with a win. Too bad they blew the Pitt game.

i think the Colts get that upset... houston’s defense is very banged up.. Ty Hilton may be back.. and Houston’s offensive line is swiss cheese.. colts win a low scoring game.

He IS that team. The problem (for them) is the team overall isn't great and O'Brien is a turd. Watson to Hopkins will keep them in and win games though. I don't see them as a deep playoff contender. I do see them making the postseason though.

Yea he is a great quarterback... i would trade all our 3 first rounders for him.. and not think twice about it.. we would be set for 15 years.. and easily have the best qb of the next decade in our division..

That 2017 draft is probably going down as either the 2nd or 3rd best QB draft in history, depending on whether Mahomes and Watson both end up elite or at least one ends up only above average. The best is 1983 with Marino, Elway and Kelly (all 3 HoF QB's) and the only other competition is 2004 with Roethlisberger, Rivers and Eli. If both Mahomes and Watson end up elite that's the 2nd best QB draft in history IMO.

We REALLY should have taken a QB high in 2017 after Tannehill's injury. It was so obvious to so many of us yet Gase thought Tannehill was the answer. We would've lucked out too because Trubisky (taken 2nd overall) was out of reach so by skill or by luck we would've likely ended up with Mahomes or Watson had we prioritized the QB position and given up the kind of draft capital you're talking about.

That colts loss hurt the value of the texans pick quite a bit.

I've got the Jests, Giants and Broncos to win today.

Man I thought the Bengals had a shot today, Pitt benched Rudolph and are starting their third stringer. Will be interesting to see how long they keep that up.

Bengal for Burrow(s) looks to be in full effect. If we avoid a third win, that would ensure pick two.

If anyone wants to get super conspiracy gamesmanship ... does BB intentionally blow our rematch to sabotage our draft spot? Pat's will probably have home field locked. If it's still super tight and effects our spot by 4-5 slots ...

So in theory, if we lose out and the Bengals manage to win another game and we both end up with the same record, no three way tie, who gets the #1 pick?

I'm not sure if they use H2H to tiebreak or just SOS.
