St. Louis' Derek Stanley averaged a measly 4.5 yard-per-return on four punts Sunday and 23.5 on four kickoff returns, with a long of 28. Sparano was more than happy to address that topic this morning.

"First of all you have to give credit to the coach (special tams coordinator John Bonamego). I think Bono has done a good job with them in that situation, I really do," Sparano said. "When it goes wrong it's the coach's fault, so when it goes right the coach should get some of the credit. Bono has done a nice job rallying the troops that way
