Dolphins talked to Cowboys about a possible Beck trade

Because he's been scouted as a potentially good QB so to trade him now before he is actually labeled a bust is the best thing for him and for us. If Penny sticks around for awhile Beck is third string, and he never gets the chance to show that he can be a starter.

True but I dont think you really get to see what a QB is made of in exhibitions and preseason. Most secondary QB's go against second string D's etc. Rex Grossman has always been a solid preseason guy for example.

 

Dallas had no one to step in when Romo went down. That alone will drive up the price.
