Moore might be more value if the front office could hold onto him for a couple more weeks and a team is desperate.I don't think they keep 4 for long.
Matt Moore will do a lot better in a different system to what we're running now. He was much better in Daboll's offense.
You guys who think we could get any more than a 4 are not understanding that going to a new team a week from the start of the season means learning a new play book, new terminology, developing chemistry??? Is he better than what a few teams will start the season with??? Yes. But there is much more to it, like teams knowing we are likely to deal him. If we really got Andre Roberts straight up?? I'd change my opinion on Ireand (Atlleast for a day) I expect a conditional 5th is the ceiling for Matt.
Hard to get much in the way of a draft pick when the guy you're sending is in the last year of his deal. To get a player of value, Miami probably would have to throw some sugar on top.
Even if its for a known back up? I get it if you're going for a starter who wants starter money, but at this point anyone trying to trade for Moore is looking for a back up...right?
I still feel like he would be ideal for KC, Cassel is injury prone and inconsistent to boot. By the bye week if the Chiefs are struggling they could put him in and have a chance for a turn around. I'm the Chiefs after watching Quinn lately I'm seriously considering offering a 5, extending his contract and possibly even moving foward with Moore in the future.
