Ted Ginn Jr. [51] - I"m hopeful as any on Ginn but the comments I see written about this guy, at this point, is comical. He has much to prove and has yet to prove anything. He shouldn't be above Brown, Carey, Porter, Allen or Satele. Vernon Carey [42]+ Ronnie Brown [53] Samson Satele [52] John Beck [29] Joey Porter [8] Will Allen [10]
Ted Ginn Jr. [51] Vernon Carey [42] Ronnie Brown [54] + Nothing can change the fact that he is still the best player on the team. Someone the patriots couldn't even shut down Samson Satele [52] John Beck [29] Joey Porter [7] - Has the lowest score. Kind of a douchebag Will Allen [10]
Ted Ginn Jr. [51] Vernon Carey [43] + Ronnie Brown [54] Samson Satele [52] John Beck [28] - Joey Porter [7] Will Allen [10]
Ted Ginn Jr. [51] Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [55] + Best player. Samson Satele [52] John Beck [28] Joey Porter [6] - I love him but he has the lowest score. Will Allen [10]
Ted Ginn Jr. [51] Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [56]+ Run 'em down, Ronnie! Samson Satele [52] John Beck [27] - Show us what you got this year, Johnny... I know everyone likes to eliminate people, but when did having the lowest score become the determining factor of who people are going to vote against...oh yeah, page 3.

I love Ronnie, but his higlights, at any level, don't make me go "WOW! Holy ****!!!" Ronnie is great. I believe Ted, however, is special. Where Ronnie gets my blood going is when he runs over or through a guy. It still doesn;t compare to seeing someone simply run around other players like they are traffic pylons, though.
Ted Ginn Jr. [53] + oh, and it's Ginn by a knee!! Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [53] - Samson Satele [52] John Beck [27] Joey Porter [5] Will Allen [10]
sorry Bpk, Gish...Ted may be the future on the O, but Ronnie is the NOW. hey Aqua! 55 + 1 = 56, not 54. Ted Ginn Jr. [52] - Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [56] + Samson Satele [52] John Beck [27] Joey Porter [5] Will Allen [10]

Literature has nothing to do with football. Physics and math are the laws that dictate the game. Also, your previous vote has two +'s.
Ted Ginn Jr. [53] + Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [56] - Samson Satele [53] John Beck [27] Joey Porter [4] Will Allen [9] Ronnie is key to the now, I agree. But I simply think Ted is electrifying and will get to show us this year. At best, Ronnie will always either be platooning heavily with another back or constantly nicked up, imo. He may never blossom into a full workload, full stat-line Pro-Bowl back. Meanwhile, the only person I can think of who reminds me of Ginn is Hester... and Hester is on a Hall of Fame pace as a return man. not pro Bowl. Hall of Fame. Now, Ted's not *quite* the returner Hester is, but he is similar. PLUS Ted is 1000X the receiver Hester is. I can;t believe how lucky we are to have Ted Ginn on this team. Seriously. He is going to KILL the opposition this year. There is simply no answer for someone like Ted once he has a little NFL experience (which he does now) and decent coaching (which he does now). Bpk
It can be disputed that Ronnie is the best RB on the team. Heck, even last year Chatman gave him a run for his money. Look who ended up with the most carries in 07, Jesse. Cleo Lemon had as many rushing TDs as Ronnie last year. And Samkon Gado only trailed Ronnie by one score. Also, Ted Ginn led the team in receiving TDs.
Will Allen isnt even the best Allen on the team. Jason Allen led the team in INTs, and was 3rd in tackles. Will had a whopping 1 INT, and finished behind Michael Lehan in tackles. What a joke!!!!
Okay, now you are getting a little carried away, imo. Chatman had stats because Ronnie went down. When he subbed for Ronnie Chatman hustled his way to decent pickups with no blocking, but Ronnie was killing defenses. I would love to see the YPC and YPR (Ronnie was amazing out of the backfield) for Chatman vs. Ronnie while BOTH were playing at the same time. Ronnie's talent clearly outclasses Chatman and Gado's. Seriously. But Ricky, imo, is a more complete back than Ronnie, less injury prone, FINISHES his long runs with more TD-threat, and has better open-field vision once he hits the second level. If it weren't for the age difference, I would easily label Ricky the more talented of the pair and sign him as my team's featured-back over Ronnie. I mean, come on, Ronnie hasn't won a rushing title yet, has he? I am just trying to be objective about Ronnie. He means a lot to this team, but the reality is that, without him... we would still have Ricky (probably) who is looking fantastic (if you believe the coaches, who know a little bit about football) and a good run-blocking O-line to help ANY back who is back there. There is little doubt, imo, that this year's line is a better run-blocking line than last year's. That means that if you subtract Ronnie from the team, it hurts us, but we could make do without him. Tell me this.. without Ginn what player do we put out there that scares secondaries or streches the field at all? At ALL. Hagan? lol. Wilford? Nuh-uh. Maybe the lil' people's champ, undrafted Davone Bess, will have opponents dropping safeties deep to respect his 4.7 speed. The larder is bare at WR. Seriously, without Ginn we have no deep game at all. None. Zero. That means safeties playing up to the line and a much more compact front seven for our beloved Ronnie to face. It also collapses the coverage onto the other receivers more, making passing harder. That means more running, less passing. THAT means the defense knowing you'll run and loading up for it... which, again, makes it harder to run. without Ginn this offense is in deep ***. Without Ronnie, we fall off somewhat, but not nearly as much. We can SURVIVE without Ronnie, but we need Ted... at least until/unless we trade for Chad Johnson, folks. lol So, remember this is Survivor, and it's about TWO things, imo: 1) who do you think is the best player 2) who is the most valuable member of the tribe to keep on the island to help us SURVIVE. So, maybe people might disagree about #1, thinking Ronnie more talented... but really, if you ask yourself #2, who can we least afford to lose? Ronnie or Ted? (real answer: Jason Ferguson) Bpk
I never lied. I just didn't tell the whole truth Tactics Tactics Tactics. Much respect for Ronnie though.
Ted Ginn Jr. [54] + Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [55] - Samson Satele [53] John Beck [27] Joey Porter [4] Will Allen [9]
I have to take exception again, here. Will payed an absolutely outstanding season. He is not a turnover machine, but he covered very well (and these were teams' #1 WRs , mind you), blitzed well, AND was excellent in run-support too. Plus, he did that on a crappy defense without a great pass-rush, being worn down by being run at and having to tackle RB's in run-support constantly, and never knowing if it would be a run, play action or pass (the hardest part... at LEAST with a good run defense your passing downs are coming on predictable 3rd and longs where you can set up properly AND have an idea of the depth of routes they'll be running to get the down etc... in OUR crap defense, they could throw on us at ANY time, and very effectively play-action us if they wanted to as well, since they were running all over us at will). Honestly, he was wonderful last year, considering. Very professional to maintain his standard of play as others withered. That man was out there on an island with no help from our fourth string safeties and lackluster pass rush. He performed admirably. Now, I love Jason Allen and think Pasqualoni is smart to keep him at Safety. Jason is very athletically gifted and finally looked like he "figured it out" and caught up to the game last year. I think Jason is ready for a big year. That said, I wouldn;t take ANYTHING away from Will Allen in order to praise jason. Bpk
Ted Ginn Jr. [54] Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [55] Samson Satele [53] John Beck [27] Joey Porter [3]- Will Allen [10]+
Ted Ginn Jr. [54] Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [55] Samson Satele [53] John Beck [26] - Joey Porter [4] + Because a pro-bowl linebacker who anchored a defense that won a Super Bowl 2 years ago should not be voted off before the QB that has a total of 1 TD and 9 turnovers to his NFL credit. Joey Porter is an amazing player, and perhaps his best years are behind him, but he's still better than 3/4 of the league at the OLB spot. In a 3-4 defense with creative blitz schemes and a decent DLine in front of him I think he'll be back to busting heads this year. You people need to show some respect. Will Allen [10]
Ted Ginn Jr. [54] Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [55] Samson Satele [53] John Beck [26] Joey Porter [3] - Will Allen [11] + What had Joey Porter done for us lately? I would rather show respect to a player that actually has made a difference in the Dolphins defense -- namely Will Allen, who bolstered a sieve-like run defense.
Well, first of all I wasn't pitting Joey Porter against Will Allen. I was pitting him against John Beck. You tell me what John Beck has done for us lately. As for what Porter did. 65 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 2 interceptions. 18 of those tackles, 4 of those sacks and 1 of those interceptions coming in December. He had a poor season for Joey Porter but he ramped it up near the end. The knee injury, the lack of talent on the field, and the horrible coaching staff we had last year didn't help him to produce either.

Ted Ginn Jr. [54] Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [56]+ Samson Satele [54] John Beck [26] Joey Porter [1] - Will Allen [11]
And yet Porter will continue to get points subtracted from him because, as it's been said many times in this thread, "he has the lowest score." What a shame
Ted Ginn Jr. [54] Vernon Carey [43] Ronnie Brown [56]+ Samson Satele [54] John Beck [25] - Joey Porter [2] + Will Allen [11]
Dont confuse the results from the cause. He has the lowest score, because he in my mind is the least "Dolphin" that should win a survivor contest....dont worry Will Allen will be next for the same reason.
FWIW, that's not the rationale I used to take a point away from Porter. I simply saw him as having the least value to the franchise of the players remaining.
