Selective reading is not your friend. He screwed the team over by bolting the night before training camp. He screwed the team over by saying he was clean only to fail another drug test. Tearing a pectoral muscle isn't something he conciously did to screw the team over, but it does prove that his time out of football (for thing he did screwing the team over) has left him out of shape and unable to keep up. That may change this offseason, but it was damn apparently last year.
I didin't argue the fact that he screwed the team over. I am amused by the way you label his injury. HE GOT STEPPED ON. You can be a couch potatoe, or an NFL athelete...when a NFL defensive lineman STOMPS on you, you are getting hurt. That had nothing with him being out of shape. Which we won't know weather he was or was not.
