We kept Thigpen on the roster for only handling return duties, nothing on defensive special teams and a few catches out of the backfield, if he's better Than Thigpen, who had a bad year, then why not.

You got 3 WRs coming off knee injuries. Who knows how they will all respond. As long as he stays healthy himself and works hard, his chances should be at least 50/50. I don't see a huge difference in talent and ability between Williams, Binns and Matthews, and Gibson isn't far ahead of that trio either and coming off the worst injury of the 3.

interested in minicamp that starts today, i think matthews has shown a lot more then williams at this point of their careers, i agree about binns, but that buzz around him last year that he was impressing in the slot before he went down has me intruiged about him, i also think that matthews mentioned in his interview with the finsiders that binns is already catching passes and is working out with the receivers and tannehill.

Matthews has 11 and 41 catches and 2 TDs in his first two years.
Williams had 16 and 45 catches and 5 TD catches in his first two years.
Hopefully, Matthews will continue his ascent. Williams has yet to do so.
He went down to 30 and 15 catches and no TD catches the past two seasons.

This gets to the heart of the matter. It's going to be competitive camp which is good. And, if one or more of those guys goes down that opens the door even more to his potential to make the team and fitting team needs. Beyond that, though Binn has flashed a lot of talent in camp and pre-season, he has yet to actually get the job done on the big stage. There are a number of players who look great in camp and then can't get it done for real. Maybe Binn will but he's basically an unknown quantity.
