Ireland's one CFLer this year, Lee Robinson a LB, I'd love to hype but just can't. I'd love to have another Larry Izzo, but he just did not do much in the CFL.
Yeah, Hinds was on a tryout. I was hoping he'd get a shot. According to Ireland, his work ethic and attention detail got him a contract. Interestingly, it's a three year contract. I think he does have a shot of making the roster.
Michael Clay could very possibly be another Izzo, or as I said in another thread, sort of mix of Zach and Izzo.
Then again, Jelani Jenkins has Adalius Thomas's skillset, and he started out as a STer. Jenkins has that kind of speed, but then again, you have the old draft books, I'd bet Jenkins compares well to Thomas physically
I am hearing mixed reports on whether the team was at 90 during rookie camp. I think they may have been at 89. With signing Clabo that put them at 90, then they cut two rookies to sign one. Might have one spot? I will count later and determine exactly where we are.
