• Agent Mark Bloom said Miami has shown interest in Bills free agent cornerback Jabari Greer -- who visited Detroit, Tampa, Cleveland, with New Orleans next -- ``but I don't know where it will lead.'' Cornerbacks Bryant McFadden and Phillip Buchanon are out of Miami's price range barring a change of heart. The Dolphins don't want to spend enormous money on cornerback and didn't offer Andre' Goodman anything close to Denver's five-year, $25 million deal. Miami expressed interest in Drayton Florence before he signed with Buffalo Tuesday night http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/columnists/barry-jackson/story/931488.html It looks like we are not willing to pay market price for a CB . I hope they are not planning to use one of our OL back there . .
Anyone know about what it would take to sign him? And how much cap we have left to work with? He's better than what we have right now, but we still to be able to sign our rookies.
lets hope we get someone in the db area it is a super need. look back to last year and the group getting burnt!
hes a good slot guy. we have to get one or we are going to get killed by the inside man all year, again.
Anyone have an idea how much cap left we still have? I'm afraid that we don't have enough to sign a decent cornerback.
its our #1 Need why we have not addreesed this is beyond me!!! Im actually getting very crazy over it! The draft isnt the answer for this postion this year..
Mcfadden is out of our price range??Yet, we throw crazy money at Grove, I think CB is a hole we need filled.Would love to have Mcfadden here. Oh, that sounds encouraging.
I thinking we are not making a serious run at Greer. He didnt want to resign with the Bills for a lesser contract, he wants the same money that the other FAs are getting which puts him out of our range. I have a feeling we will be drafting a few rooks.
I think they should get off their butts and sign some FA defensive backs. Our DBs weren't exactly a strength last season.
I think it probably won't end with us getting him but he's actually a fairly good 2-3 CB. If you add him your CB need is lessened significantly. I think that he could easily start for us and make our CB need merely a late second rather than early first need.
Dolphins Host Free Agent CB http://www.miamidolphins.com/newsite/news/top_story.asp?contentID=6362 http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playernews.aspx?sport=NFL Might be old news, but didn't see it in the mains
Damn... Woulda been nice, and a bit comforting to see us sign a CB capable of starting, looks like the Saints beat us to it in regards to Greer anyways..
