From The Sporting News Today: Follow the link for more on how the decline of the Wildcat has allowed Henne to cut loose. Other offenses named: Redskins, Raiders, 49ers and Chiefs.
Of all those teams (excluding the Phisn of course) I'm happiest for the Redskins, Sherm Lewis was just roasted for "he was managing a Bingo Hall and now he will run the Redskin's Offense? He's been out of coaching since 2004". Well look what he has accomplished in DC, these football media types, and imho the NFL itself are miserably bad judges of people.
Good issue of SN Today for us: the "Scouts Take" column later names Miami as the most physically tough team in the AFC East, largely owing to Sparano's influence.
Ronnie Brown getting hurt may be a blessing in disguise. IMO it forced the Fins coaching staff to let the passing game go.
Don't underestimate the coaching decision to air out the passing game versus teams like the Patriots with suspect secondaries.
I totally agree with you guys BUT do you think the coaching staff would have done that if they had a healthy RB to run the ball? I don't...
